Last week, Andreas Bodi, Director Competence Center Engineering & Documentation at SONOTEC, attended the international UNITECR Conference – the global meeting point for experts in the refractory and ceramics industry.

On October 30, he gave his presentation:
“Inline Process Monitoring and Quality Control of Ceramic Materials Using Contact-Free Air-Coupled Ultrasound”

The session attracted a full room and great interest – followed by engaging discussions with professionals from around the world. The topic clearly showed how air-coupled ultrasound is becoming a key technology for inline process monitoring and quality assurance of ceramic materials. 

A strong sign that innovation made in Germany continues to inspire the global industry!

Steffi Lorenz

Steffi Lorenz has been working as a Marketing Manager at SONOTEC GmbH in Halle (Saale) since 2022, where she is responsible for technical B2B marketing within the Ultrasound Transducer business unit. In this role, she develops and coordinates marketing and communication activities for innovative ultrasound solutions – ranging from content and product marketing to campaign planning and close collaboration with sales and product management.

With many years of experience in B2B marketing and strategic communication of technical products, she is skilled at translating complex topics into clear and audience-focused messaging.
