SONOTEC GmbH will participate in the EFNDT Seminar NDT in Railway 2025 in Linz, Austria, on March 11–12, 2025. This renowned industry event, organized by the German Society for Non-Destructive Testing (DGZfP), brings together experts from the railway sector to discuss the latest developments and technologies in non-destructive testing (NDT).

A key highlight of SONOTEC’s presence will be the presentation by Mark Achtenberg, Development Engineer, on March 12, 2025. Under the title “Improved Ultrasonic Probes for Railway Inspection,” he will introduce innovative solutions aimed at enhancing ultrasonic testing technology for railway inspection. The focus will be on optimized probe designs that enable higher precision and efficiency in detecting material defects.

Mark Achtenberg, who has played a crucial role in developing these new probes, will be accompanied by Michael Ihle, International Sales Manager at SONOTEC. Both experts will be available throughout the event for discussions and look forward to exchanging ideas with industry professionals.

Steffi Lorenz has been working as a Marketing Manager at SONOTEC GmbH in Halle (Saale) since 2022, where she is responsible for technical B2B marketing within the Ultrasound Transducer business unit. In this role, she develops and coordinates marketing and communication activities for innovative ultrasound solutions – ranging from content and product marketing to campaign planning and close collaboration with sales and product management.

With many years of experience in B2B marketing and strategic communication of technical products, she is skilled at translating complex topics into clear and audience-focused messaging.
